School Issues

Special Educational Needs (SEND)

If your child is thought to have special educational needs, it is essential to get a proper assessment to ensure the school is providing appropriate support for them.

Sometimes parents are unwilling to formally ‘label’ their child but read our blog on why refusing to assess is not always in the best interest of the child.

Should your child have learning needs (such as dyslexia or other difficulties) or behavioural issues (such as ADHD or ODD), it is important the school is aware and puts the right support in place.

If this is not happening, speak to Heywood de Ferrer Associates and let us help.

Whether it is about where and when to get an assessment or problems with the school in how they handle your child, speak to HFA.
